Meetings & Programs

2009 - 2010 Theme of the Year:  "Influences"

Whatcom Weavers Guild meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month, September through June.  Meetings are open to all members and visitors are welcome.  Following a social time and a brief "show and tell" of newly created items by Guild members, a quick business meeting is held before the evening's program begins.

Meeting programs are developed to interest weavers and all fiber artists alike.  Programs such as lectures, slide presentations and hands-on-learning activities bring members together to discover (or re-discover) interesting tricks, techniques, histories, and everything else under the sun to help stimulate a creative spark.  Often times programs are geared around a specific workshop scheduled for guild members allowing for the group as a whole to learn from visiting fiber artists.

Dates:  Second Wednesday of the month, September through June.

Times:  6:30p Social Time,

7:00p Show and Tell of items "hot off the loom" and a short business meeting.

7:30p Shcheduled Program (meetings typically end between 8:30-9:00p.

Location:  St. James Presbyterian Church, 910 - 14th Street, Bellingham, Washington -- enter through the west side of the lower level.  Parking is available in the church parking lot and on the street.
